The Saudi national team is looking for a new coach after their exit from the 2026 World Cup, and a historic coach, Argentine Gabriel Calderon, is offering himself to Saudi Arabia.
Calderon commented on Saudi Arabia's exit from the 2026 World Cup, after they finished last in Group 8 with 2 points, from 2 draws with Uruguay and Cape Verde, and a heavy defeat to Spain with a 4-0 score.
Calderon gave statements to the Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadh", in which he explained his desire to return to Saudi Arabia, after achieving everything there, enjoying football and the Saudi people, and qualifying for the World Cup without losing any match.
He hopes to have the opportunity to live and work again in this new era of football in Saudi Arabia, according to Calderon's statement.
